Awareness of Breast Cancer Among Underprivileged Women in Delhi
Abstract: A field-based study conducted in the Pandara Road slum areas of New Delhi to assess knowledge gaps, stigma, and access barriers related to breast cancer detection. The findings informed low-cost awareness models for community-level interventions.

The award celebrates independent, original research conducted by young innovators who apply scientific thinking to solve real-world challenges.
My project on breast cancer awareness among underprivileged women in Delhi’s slum communities was recognized for its social impact, research depth, and community engagement — reflecting my belief that science must serve both people and purpose.
Reels of Reality: How Instagram Influences Gender Perceptions Among Teens
Abstract
This study examines how Instagram content shapes gender identities and self-image among adolescents in India’s National Capital Region. Using a mixed-method approach combining surveys and content analysis, the paper highlights how online media reinforces — and sometimes challenges — gender stereotypes.

I had the privilege of presenting my research at MEDCOM 2025, the 10th World Conference on Media and Mass Communication, held in Bangkok, Thailand — one of the world’s leading academic forums bringing together scholars, researchers, and practitioners from over 40 countries.
Recognized as a globally reputed, peer-reviewed conference, MEDCOM is known for showcasing cutting-edge research in communication, media, and cultural studies.
I was the youngest participant and the only high school researcher to present at the conference, where my paper, “How Instagram Influences Gender Perceptions Among Teens of Today – A Case Study of the Indian Capital Region,” was awarded Session Best Presenter for its originality, analytical depth, and social relevance.
